NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Adam Monea roars into the sunny state of Queensland this weekend as Coolum plays host to round five of the MX Nationals series – Australia’s premier motocross championship.

Monea will be entering the event full of confidence after scoring a superb second place finish at the previous round of the Monster Energy MX1 championship at Murray Bridge.

“This round is crucial for our championship,” Monea stated.

“Not only are we at the mid-point of this year’s championship, but we’ll also have reached our mid season break. The importance of having a good round in Coolum is exceptionally high; we have to carry strong momentum through the break to keep team morale up.”

Currently sitting third in the Monster Energy MX1 450 Pro Championship, Monea made his intentions very clear as he chases down Australia’s premier motocross crown in 2015.

“As far as that (the championship) goes, we as a team are extremely close. The KX450f is set up exceptionally well at the moment, which is giving me so much more confidence.”

“We’re doing everything we can to gain a lot more race wins and come away with the championship this August.” Monea added.

The NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki squad base themselves out of Queensland, providing the comfort of a close-to-home round. The team will be pushing exceptionally hard to ensure a great result in their home state.

Gates open this Sunday 31 May at 7:30am, with practice and qualifying commencing at8:30am and racing at 10:40am. Tickets are available for purchase upon entry. For full details head to
