Ahead of this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix, the Milwaukee Racing Supercars squad have announced that star driver Will Davison will be joined by brother Alex for this season’s Pirtek Enduro Cup.
The pair will add both experience and a reputable family name to this year’s Enduro campaign as third generation racers and sons of Formula 2 Champion Richard Davison, and grandsons of the late, four-times Australian Grand Prix winner Lex Davison, a motorsport dynasty with serious family heritage.
Alex will draw off an impressive resume of local and international experience whilst driving alongside his brother, which will be a first for the pair since partnering back in 2015.
After a promising start to his 2018 campaign which saw competitive results last time out in Adelaide, Will says he has high expectations for the Pirtek Enduro Cup based on the brothers history, racing together.
The pair has been spending time together testing both their fitness and a brotherly bond whilst working on their skills, recently going back to their roots racing GoKart on the Gold Coast. The brothers will partner up for the Pirtek Enduro Cup, which encompasses the Sandown, Bathurst and Gold Coast rounds of the 2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, kicking off in September.
