JACK LE BROCQ JOINS NISSAN MOTORSPORT
For the first time in Dunlop Super2 Series history a Nissan will take to the grid with rising star Jack Le Brocq to steer the GoGetta Racing Altima across all rounds in 2017.
Today saw the 24-year-old named as the first driver of the new look Nissan development squad with backing from leading Equipment Finance company GoGetta.
The GoGetta Nissan Altima will be run by MW Motorsport who share a strong technical alliance with Nissan Motorsport’s main game Supercars outfit.
Le Brocq will race with support from Nissan Motorsport and guidance from team owner and current Supercars contender Todd Kelly.
After finishing the 2016 season in second, with seven race wins and six pole positions, Le Brocq is hungrier than ever to claim his maiden Dunlop Super2 Series crown in 2017.
Le Brocq will also feature in a couple of ‘wildcard’ races this year in the main Virgin Australia Supercars Championship (rounds TBC), along with pairing alongside experienced team mate – Todd Kelly, during the endurance series later on in 2017.
Round 1 of the 2017 Dunlop Super2 Series takes crews to Adelaide for the traditional Virgin Australia Supercars Championship opener, the Clipsal 500, March 2-5.
