JAMES COURTNEY BACK WITH A VENGEANCE AFTER MASSIVE TASMANIA CRASH
Preparing to get back in a race car after a monster crash is something James Courtney doesn’t really think twice about.
A fortnight ago he was sidelined in Tasmania after being caught in the middle of one of the biggest crashes in Supercars history.
The 36 year old has had his share of mega shunts during a successful racing career but his commitment has never waivered and he plans to give it 110% this weekend.
The 2010 champion is now 8th on the ladder and eager to go wheel to wheel with his rivals at Phillip Island to put more points in the bank.
The Mobil 1 HSV Racing Team worked tirelessly over Easter to repair damaged cars.
Courtney’s needs further attention so the team has put him in a spare…the car that won the 2015 Enduro Cup.
The #22 car will also sport an all new eye-catching livery at Phillip Island, with Boost Mobile coming on board as a major partner for Courtney’s Commodore.
Supercars practice gets underway at the Grand Prix circuit at 12:30pm today.
