The Monster Energy AUS-X Open Sydney returns in 2018 with the current World Supercross Champion Jason Anderson confirmed to take on Australia’s greatest talent, dual world champ, Chad Reed, at Qudos Bank Arena on November 10.

Reed says he’s be laying it all one the line to reclaim the AUS-X Open crown as he looks to knock the American off his perch in front of a packed out home crowd.

Resigning Anderson for this year’s event is a massive coup for Australia motorsport fans who will see a current supercross world champion compete on Australian soil for the first time ever.

Anderson is the reigning AUS-X Open champion but is under no illusions he will need to bring his A game to beat the Australian, especially with the entire Sydney crowd cheering on the #22.

Reed believes that since its inception, the AUS-X Open has become a globally recognised event and the man from Kurri Kurri will head to Olympic Park in November with one plan in mind, victory.

The Monster Energy AUS-X Open Sydney is on sale today, tickets from ticketek.
